I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and I miss Tumblr as an outlet for the pain that I experience everyday. I decided many moons ago that I was going to stop burdening my friends with my problems. I don’t want the attention for my suffering. I want the attention for my accomplishments.
I tasted fear today. I work in a prison. On a daily basis I come in contact with hundreds of convicted felons for every kind of crime. But that fear never hits me. Today I blacked out at work for a second and just about collapsed. The world spun and the only thought that went through my head was “not here”
I tasted fear. I’m better now, I went to the hospital and they said that it was an adverse reaction to some medicine I’m on to fight an infection. My dad came down to drive me because I was too dizzy to drive.
I have NEVER been to the hospital for myself. Not once. Tonight that changed. I tasted fear.
So I have decided to return to tumblr. But on my conditions. I’m not going to reblog anything if I can help it. I am not going to get worked up about social justice assholes on here.
I am going to change my blog. I want it to stand as a guide for others that suffer like me. I will be keeping the name angelsanddaemons. It always symbolized the true world to me.
My plan is to make daily entries. I’m going to start tonight with much of the info I have posted. I guess I don’t care if anyone ever reads but I want to write this to show those that suffer like me that they are not alone and that there is something to live for.
I want to show the world what it looks like to recover. It’s going to take YEARS. But I WILL RECOVER.
So read if you like. And my ask box is open.
After the fall, we’ll shake it off,

Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
